This is a website that collects videos made in the Historical Centre of Porto. Videos made by anyone, with any kind of talent, using any type of video-making device... you can even use a mobile phone!
Rescuing videos is all that matters! Rescuing testimonies of old stories, important people in one’s life, domestic and family moments, street events. Everything that goes beyond the stones, walls and monuments of the Historical Centre. People playing cards and domino in public gardens, kids playing at main squares, window conversations, river diving, heated discussions about politics at local cafes... or people stating their willingness to change the world. To get an idea, see the videos that have already been rescued.
These videos aim to remain effect-free. They are best in their raw state, so later can be used as source material in the composition of new narratives.
